What a great spot to recharge on a long drive! We knew by the smell as soon as we walked in that this place was good. The atmosphere is very friendly with classy Greek styling throughout. We were served promptly, but not so much so that we felt rushed enjoying one another's company. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, the rice was delicious, and the veg was fresh and delicious. I would've loved a little more feta on the salad, but other than that the portions were generous and satisfying.

Visiting the Desert from Wisconsin. First time trying Athena. The food & atmosphere were well received. Nice venue for greek food. We wanted just 2 Gyros sanwichwiches, but misread the menu & ended up with a plate that came with salads also. They were very good, but didn't need it. There are plenty of salad greens on the sandwiches alone. The Gyro meat was good & tender, but it came in pieces, not long strips, so I think we got the ends. Would definitely return. We went without reservations. I'm not sure this is the norm, but we got seated right away.

I was looking for a quick bite to eat between sessions at a conference and this restaurant fit the bill. Service was fast. The employees were very friendly. The food was tasty and very reasonably priced!

Good food! The gyro and lamb chop were good. The Greek salad, was great! Had to give it four stars... the pita bread did not seem to be house made. The house limonade was a bit bitter. The establishment is a little too tight, had some tipsy customers bumping into me on the way to the restroom. Staff was amicable.

The Greek festival is this weekend so my wife and I decided to have some Greek food today. We have been here before but this time we tried a couple new items on the menu that we haven’t tried before. The food is amazing and the staff is perfect. The experience is always one of the best. Nothing against the Greek festival but it’s hard to get food there cause it’s so busy so if you’re stuck without getting any food stop at this place to eat.

Love it here. Food is amazing. I've been to many Greek restaurants, and, this is by far my favorite. I had the vegetarian plate. They used a plant base meat that was really good. I would come back again. Came back and tried their sliders...they are soo amazing. This is my favorite place in the valley- hands down.

We stumbled upon this place when we were starving and it did not disappoint. The service was immediately good, and so was the food. Athena Gyro served very large portions, and the food was all fresh and delicious. I recommend the greek salad, chicken gyro and the steak kebabs.

I am genuinely disappointed I can’t eat here on a regular basis. I picked up a catering order last weekend that I arranged with Al, he was so helpful during the order building process and so kind when we finally met in person to pick up the order, he even helped us load the car! And the food was INCREDIBLE. Chicken, shrimp, gyro meat, falafel, rice and salad! All of it was delicious and cooked to perfection. And I can’t forget the Fire Feta! An incredible dip - I’m hoping to find a recipe to make it myself because I live so far away. Try the fire feta, and try everything! Thanks again Al!
